Tlokwe mayor urges residents to be patient

With only a few hours left before voting stations close, there's still a long queue here at the Tshupane School in Ward 26.
There is a strong police presence, but the situation seems calmer and more organised.
The sun is starting to set over Ikageng and there's still a group of roughly 150 voters waiting to make their mark, but IEC officials say they will extend operating hours if necessary.

Tlokwe mayor Kgotso Khumalo earlier told JacarandaFM News that all voters should respect the process and be patient to ensure all the new regulations are met.
