Disney is looking for local presenters

The search is now on! Disney Africa announced that it is embarking on a talent search across South Africa for three presenters to front its brand new lifestyle show, I Love Violetta!

The first South African Disney Channel local production, I Love Violetta is a brand new companion series that will launch later in the year together with the all-singing, all-dancing third season of the hit telenovela Violetta on Disney Channel.?


Featuring three new local presenters, the weekly series will re-live the best moments of recent Violetta episodes, anticipate what will happen next, discuss favourite characters and showcase choreography, fashion advice and more.


How to Enter:


Entries for the first phase of the talent search are now open until 19 June. Disney fans aged between 13 and 18 years can log on to www.disneyafrica.mobi, www.disney.co.za or www.dstv.com to upload a photo or video to the site.* Once submitted and verified, entries will be reviewed and selected entrants will be invited to audition in front of the judging panel in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.



Thereafter, the finalists will be invited back to a workshop, after which the three chosen presenters will make history as they begin production on I Love Violetta, to air later in the year on Disney Channel (DStv, Channel 303).

Fans can catch up on brand new episodes of Season 2 of Violetta on Disney Channel (DStv Channel 303) every weekday at 16:10, repeated at 19:30.
