'Queen understood and was never angry' - Prince Harry on royal exit

Prince Harry and his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, always had a very special relationship. In a recent interview, Harry revealed that his grandmother knew 'what was going on and she never was angry but she was sad'.

Prince Harry is currently the most talked about man and royal family member after he sat down for several interviews to share his own truth about his life and the royal family.

In a recent interview with Good Morning America, the Duke of Sussex opened up about his relationship with his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and the royal exit that the British press named 'Megxit'.

Harry insisted that his grandmother was not angry or upset with him about wanting to step down as a senior working royal.

"Did she ever express that she was upset at you?" the interviewer for Good Morning America asked.

"No. My grandmother and I had a very good relationship. It was never a surprise to anybody, least of all her.

"She knew what was going on. She knew how hard it was. She never said to me that she was angry. I think she was sad that it got to that point," Harry added.
