Prince Harry once believed his mother 'staged' her death to 'run away'

As a child, Prince Harry believed his mother, Princess Diana, 'staged' her death and was in hiding.

On 31 August 1999, the world came to a standstill when the news broke that the 'People's Princess' had sadly died in a tragic car crash in Paris.  

Prince Harry believed that his mother, Princess Diana, had faked her death to escape the press, he reveals in his new book, 'Spare'.

Harry was 12 when his beloved mother passed away in a horrific car crash in Paris. 

In the book, Harry admits to spending decades trying to figure out what really happened that night.

He also mentioned that he and his older brother, Prince William, will drive through the Paris tunnel to retrace their mother's final moments.

Princess Diana was 36 when she died. Her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, and chauffeur Henri Paul also died. The only survivor was Diana's bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones.
