Mzansi Youth Choir to perform with Celtic Woman
Big Concerts confirmed that The Mzansi Youth Choir will support Celtic Woman on their South African tour dates in September 2016 as part of their Destiny World Tour.
The Mzansi Youth Choir is widely regarded as the best show choir in the country.
International highlights include performances in Canada, Denmark, England, Scotland and Turkey.
Most recently the choir received rousing standing ovations after their performance at the London Guildhall as well as at the Nelson Mandela Day/Commonwealth Games celebrations in Glasgow.
During the 2010 FIFA World Cup the choir shared the stage with Columbian superstar Shakira and local band Freshly Ground for the performance of the official World Cup song ‘WakaWaka’ at the Kick-Off Concert as well as the World Cup Final.
It’s been more than ten years since Celtic Woman first captured America’s imagination with their self-titled first public television special.

That historic concert performance launched a genuine cultural phenomenon, introducing millions of new fans to the group’s fresh fusion of traditional Irish music, contemporary studio craft and state-of-the-art stage production.
