Oprah Winfrey’s company has opened a lawsuit against the creators of the ‘Oprademics’ podcast. The lawsuit argues that the podcast may mislead people into thinking she sponsors the programme.

Oprah argues that the name of the podcast can be easily confused with her being involved in curating the content shared on the platform.

The lawsuit does however state that it is not expecting nor requesting payment from the creators. It also states that it does not intend to stop the podcast but to have the name of the podcast changed.
