POLL: Do celebs influence your vote?

With the 2016 local government elections a day away, various entertainers have spoken out about the importance of voting.
Some even went as far as to endorse some political parties.
Rapper, AKA has made no secret of the fact that he supports the ANC and have silence critics on social media for saying he supports the ruling party for financial gain.
AKA posted a series of tweets defending his decision to support the ANC.
Stars have also stressed the importance of taking part in the elections and having a say.

While we regard them as entertainers and even idols, they too have a social responsibility towards making South Africa a better place for all who live in it.
In recent months we also saw Khanyi Mbau, Kelly Khumalo, Nhlanhla Nciza, Criselda Dudumashe, Jimmy Tau, Mike Mangena and others endorse the ruling party.
According to reports a brand strategist said that endorsing a political party could be compromising and damaging to an individual's personal brand.
He also advised that personal brands should stay clear of religion and politics.
