Apple
fans will be very happy with the new features included with the iPhone 14
series.
Apple recently announced the iPhone 14 series which will be available for preorder from 9 September - and it comes with some big upgrades.

The iPhone 14 series will not include a ‘mini’ phone, but it will include many models, as shown below with their starting prices:
- iPhone 14 (R13,862)
- iPhone 14 Plus (R15,597)
- iPhone 14 Pro (R17,332)
- iPhone 14 Pro Max (R19,068)
Some of the notable new features include an all-day battery across all models, but with special attention paid to the iPhone 14 which has the longest battery life compared to older models, even though it sports a larger screen.
Other display features include an always-on mode and a ‘Dynamic Island’ which expands when you get an alert, and displays different animations based on what app the notification is from.
For those who enjoy mobile photography, the new models all come equipped with a 12-megapixel front-facing camera for more detailed selfies. The iPhone Pro models offer an even better 48-megapixel rear camera.
Other notable improvements include some safety features, like the phone using the gyroscope to detect if you were in an accident and sending out emergency alerts.

Another safety feature is the emergency SOS, which makes use of satellite connection to ensure you get the help you need.
