Off-duty cop shot and killed in Sandton

Sandton police are searching for an unknown man who shot and killed an off-duty police officer on Friday.
The officer was killed in Bramley View on Friday afternoon.
He was reportedly cutting his hair at a street barber shop when he was attacked.
Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says it seems the officer was attacked from behind.
"Reports indicate that an unknown man approached the police officer from behind and started swearing at him before firing two shots at him.
"The officer was declared dead on the scene. A search for the culprit is underway but no arrest has been made as yet."
