Police arrested two suspects - while three are still at large – following a business robbery in Brixton in Johannesburg on Sunday.

Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele says five armed suspects entered a shop at around 23:00 and demanded cash from the owner.
"An undisclosed amount of cash was robbed and more than six cell phones were also robbed from the customers who were in the shop during the robbery.

"Police who were patrolling within the vicinity spotted the suspects who were running at corner Kingsway and University Road, and gave chase."
Makhubele says the two arrested suspects were found in possession of stolen cell phones and unlicensed firearm believed to have been used during the robbery.
The suspects will appear at Brixton Magistrates Court on Tuesday on charges of business robbery, possession of unlicensed firearms and possession of suspected stolen property.
