The 2019 elections in numbers
The 2019 general election results are set to be announced on Saturday.
Before elections kicked off, 26 779 025 people had registered to vote but only 17 661 927 cast their ballots, putting the national voter turnout at 65.99%.
The 235 000 spoilt votes is on the lower end of the scale compared to some of the previous elections.
