21 children injured in Germiston bus crash

Twenty-one children have been rushed to hospital following a collision between a bus and three vehicles on Friday morning.
The accident happened on Blackreef Road in Wadeville, Ekurhuleni.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says approximately 100 children, aged between 5 and 13, were seated near the bus when the collision happened.
"Several other services arrived on the scene to find a bus and three vehicles parked on the side of the road and medics assessed the patients and found that twenty-one children had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
"The children were treated and later transported to nearby hospitals for further care. The details surrounding this incident are unknown."
