2nd suspect nabbed for Soweto teen’s brutal murder

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Simphiwe Sibeko.
The teen's body was found in Dobsonville on Friday after she was reported missing the previous the day.
The mother told police that her daughter went to the shops but never returned.
Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubela says a suspect - a 22-year-old man - was the first to be arrested.
A second suspect was arrested in the early hours of Thursday.

"Intelligence-driven information led to the arrest of the second suspect, aged 17-years-old, in White City, Soweto, in the early hours of this morning.
"This brings the total number of suspects arrested to two. These are the suspects who allegedly killed the 14-year-old-girl of Dobsonville.”
The motive for the murder is not yet known.
Both suspects will appear in the Protea Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Police are still searching for more suspects.
