4 killed in fiery Limpopo crash

Four people were killed when the vehicle they were travelling crashed and burst into flames on the N1 outside Mokopane in Limpopo.

The four were trapped inside the burning vehicle.

 

Another two people were pulled from the car and survived with minor to moderate injuries.

 

"ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the two vehicles on the side of the road. One of the vehicles was well alight," says ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

 

"On closer inspection, medics found that one patient had been pulled from the burning vehicle by a motorist while the second patient had come from the second vehicle."

 

The cause of the crash is not known.
