41-year-old cyclist killed in a crash
A 41-year-old male cyclist has been killed in a fatal crash
in Clayville, Ekurhuleni.
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) spokesperson, Kobeli Mokheseng, says the incident happened on the early hours of Wednesday morning.
"A light delivery vehicle crashed into a 41-year-old male cyclist - who was, unfortunately, certified dead at the scene by medical experts," says Mokheseng.
He adds the incident took place at the intersection of Aluminium and the R562 and police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
