5 nabbed in taxi-related shootout in Eldorado Park
Gauteng police have arrested five suspects following a shootout on the N12 in Eldorado Park, south of Johannesburg.
Police say the STN Taxi Association was involved in a shootout with an unknown association on Tuesday.

The suspects have been linked to taxi-related killings and violence in the province.
Gauteng Traffic spokesperson Obed Sibasa says one suspect was wounded during the gun battle.
“Gauteng traffic police officers recovered five firearms, three licensed and two unlicensed to be sent for ballistic testing.
“Amongst the five suspects arrested, two are the most wanted related to taxi violence or taxi killings. The scene is still active and the road closed and we appeal to motorists to use alternative roads.”
