AA: November fuel prices a mixed bag
Updated | By Lindiwe Mpanza
The Automobile Association (AA) says motorists can expected a mixed bag when the fuel prices for November is announced by the Department of Mineral and Energy.
According to the Central Energy Fund’s mid-month data, some fuel prices could go up while others may go down.
The AA's Layton Beard says at the moment 93 octane petrol is showing a five-cent drop, while 95 octane petrol is set to rise by ten cents.
Diesel is predicted to climb by two cents while illuminating paraffin looks set for a two cents decrease.
Beard says the rand has been relatively stable while the oil price is also somewhat lower than last month.
Beard says the good news is that the oil price seems to be finding its way back to normal following a spike in the wake of last month's Saudi oil refinery attacks, giving a more stable picture for motorists.
