Ace Magashule corruption trial to start next year
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The trial of former ANC secretary general Ace Magashule is expected to start in Bloemfontein in April next year.

Magashule, businessman Edwin Sodi, and 17 others face charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering related to a failed R225 million rand asbestos tender.
This was during Magashule's time as Free State premier.
Magashule and Sodi were back in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Friday after the Supreme Court of Appeal rejected their application to have all charges against them dropped.
"This matter is postponed to 15 April 2024 until 23 June 2024 for trial during that period. Your bail is extended until then on the same conditions," the magistrate said.
