'AfriForum a godsent' - Meyiwa family
Updated | By Nokukhanya Mntambo
The brother of late soccer star Senzo Meyiwa has reiterated that he will not rest until his killers are brought to book.
The still distraught Sifiso Meyiwa addressed the media after it was announced that lobby group AfriForum would investigate the circumstances leading to the murder of former Bafana Bafana captain.
Meyiwa lauded AfriForum's involvement in his brother's case.
"I'm being led by the spirit of Jesus Christ that's why now we're going to work with AfriForum. We are proud to be associated with them. This is an organisation that is bold enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with us and is willing to fight for the truth.
"I personally, myself, I will not die before this is being solved," Meyiwa exclaimed.
The goalkeeper was gunned down at the house of his girlfriend, songstress Kelly Khumalo, in 2014.
"I pray that God may keep all the suspects and don't let any one of them to kill themselves until they reap what they sow,” said Sifiso.
He also called on the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to account for why they had not made any prosecutions, five years later.
