An agreement on the payment of bonuses was reached between the union Nehawu and the Gauteng Department of Health at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital on Friday.
The two parties met after Thursday's protest action by Nehawu members at the hospital.
Workers accused the department of failing to pay performance bonuses. They wee also unhappy about the pace of wage negotiations.
Nehawu's Gracia Rhikotso says their members are happy with the offer put on the table by management.
"We met with management this morning and management tabled an offer which we interrogated. We are now waiting on two details which relate to the offer.
"The services at the hospital are back to normal and there are no issues,” says Rhikotso.
The two parties will meet again on Tuesday to iron out the final details.
