Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The five men accused of the murders of rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and Tebello Motsoane are due back in court in Durban on Wednesday morning.
Forbes and his former manager were killed on Florida Road last year.
It's been just over a week since police confirmed they'd arrested seven suspects in connection with the hit on Forbes.
The alleged mastermind and shooters were among those taken into custody.
Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, Eddie Myeza, Lindani Ndimande, Lindokuhle Ndimande and Mziwethemba Gwabeni lined up in court last week under heavy police guard.
The State asked for a postponement for further investigations. It's also in the process of extraditing two suspects nabbed in eSwatini.
During the court appearance of brothers Malusi and Siyabonga Ndimande, prosecutors there requested that four cell phones they were carrying, be returned to South Africa to be used evidence in the AKA/Motsoane case.
Meanwhile, the bail hearing for the five suspects in Durban will begin on 14 March.
