Alexandra students upset over removal of courses
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Students and health workers' union Nehawu have been protesting at the Central Johannesburg College in Alexandra since early this morning.

One student told JacarandaFM News they are unhappy about the decision to suspend several courses at the campus.
"It's clear that young people come here, because they don't have any other options. In 2009 they removed financial courses and now they are removing more," says the student.

The police's Kay Makhubela says police are on scene to monitor the situation.
"No arrests or injuries have been reported. We are enforcing our members to make sure the situation is normalised," says Makhubela.
