An alleged drunk driver was arrested when he rear-ended a metro police vehicle, injuring three officers, in Florida, Roodepoort, on Wednesday morning, Johanesburg metro police said.
The accident happened after midnight at the corner of Ontdekkers and Gordon Roads, said spokeswoman Edna Mamonyane.
The officers were taken to hospital. One was in a serious condition and two were slightly injured.
The man would appear in court on Wednesday on charges of drunken driving, said Mamonyane.
