Alleged hitman in Panayiotou case dies
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Police confirmed on Wednesday that one of the men charged with the killing of Port Elizabeth teacher Jayde Panayiotou has died in a local hospital.

Sizwezakhe Vumazonke is one of four accused for Jayde's kidnapping and murder, along with her husband Christopher.
A pre-trial conference was postponed earlier this week following the news that Vumazonke was ill and in a coma in Livingstone Hospital.
Eastern Cape police spokesperson Brigadier Marinda Mills did not want to comment on reports that Vumazonke was poisoned while in prison.
"Depending on the medical report we received from the doctors who treated him, a decision will them be made whether a post-mortem or an autopsy will be done," she said.
