ANC integrity commission resolves to table Phala Phala report at conference

The African National Congress (ANC) integrity commission has resolved to table its decision on the Phala Phala saga at the 55th national conference next week.
The party's National Executive Committee (NEC) held a special sitting at Nasrec on Friday, where the integrity commission was expected to table outstanding reports, including the report on the robbery that took place at President Cyril Ramaphosa's farm in Limpopo.
Ramaphosa is fighting for his political future after a parliamentary independent panel concluded that he had may have committed a serious violation of the constitution and anti-corruption laws.
The report came as the party is preparing to host its national elective next week, where members will elect their leadership for the next five years.
The conference will take place from 16 to 21 December at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg.
ANC spokesperson, Pule Mabe says the report on Phala Phala will be tabled at that conference.
"In this instance, we are eight days away from the national conference, it is only fair and opportune that the integrity commission's report, forms part of the organisational reports that will be placed before the national conference, that is the resolution," he said.
