ANC to march in Tshwane against poor service delivery

Tshwane metro police officers will be out in full force at the ANC’s march against poor service delivery in Tshwane on Friday.
The ANC is marching against the lack of service delivery in the city.
The city’s council is also due to elect a new mayor on Friday.
Tshwane metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba says the march will start at the Old Putco Depot.
“From the gathering point, marchers will proceed on Struben Street, turn right onto Sophie De Bruyn Street, turn left onto Madiba Street, proceed on Madiba Street until they reach the Tshwane House between Sisulu Street and Lillian Ngoyi Street”.
“The following streets will be affected, Kgosi Mampuru Street, Madiba Street, Bosman Street, Sophie De Bruyn Street, Johannes Ramokhoase Street, Lillian Ngoyi Street, Struben Street, Thabo Sehume Street, Paul Kruger Street.”
Mahamba says officers have been deployed to ease any traffic congestion.
“Motorists are advised to avoid affected streets and use alternative routes such as, Du Toit Street, Boom Street, Francis Baard Street, Bloed Street, Nelson Mandela Drive, Eskia Mphahlele Drive.”
The marchers are expected to disperse from Tshwane House at 2pm.
