Updated | By Nathan Daniels
The African National Congress (ANC) has labelled as fake news, reports that President Jacob Zuma recall will only happen if Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is installed as interim president.

The governing party's deputy secretary general, Jessie Duarte, and secretary general Ace Magashule addressed media ahead of the party's 106th anniversary celebrations on Saturday.
The Mail & Guardian is reporting that President Zuma had made a list of conditions for stepping down as president.
According to the article, Zuma's supporters are demanding that ANC MP Dlamini-Zuma take over the country as interim president and key cabinet appointments be retained.

Magashule says there is no substance to the reports.
"I don't know where you pick up that the former AU chair will be president. We not going to respond to speculation, rumours. Just take what we say as we move forward from us. Let's engage and not have fake news."
