ANC reacts to Mogale mayor's resignation
Updated | By MornéJK
The ANC in the West Rand Region has reacted to the resignation of the executive mayor of Mogale City, Lynn Pannall, and says she has failed dismally in governing the city.

According to a statement, Pannall's resignation followed the collapse of governance and service delivery in Mogale City.
"This clearly shows the inability of the DA and EFF coalition to run the Municipality. Crucially, the all-important Integrated Development Plans consultations with the people of Mogale City have still not taken place," the ANC said in a statement.
The ANC also accused the DA of being "clueless" in fulfilling their governance obligations within the first 100 days.
"As a result, the Executive under this administration could not address the community of Mogale on the recent water crisis. Additionally, the amateurish DA failed to present quarterly reports to the council as required by the law," the ruling party said in the statement.
They also called on the council of Mogale City to meet as a matter of urgency to elect a new Mayor to stabalise the city.
"It is not in the best interest of our people to have incompetent leadership, and thereby fail them in delivering crucial services," the ANC said.
