ANC to reveal NEC discussions

The ANC will brief the media on the outcomes of their extended NEC meeting, held at the St George's Hotel in Irene, at 14:00 this afternoon.
The party's highest decision making structure between conferences deliberated on President Jacob Zuma's future as ANC leader.
Arguably one of the most closely-watched NEC meetings in recent history concluded late last night with President Zuma's political future on the line.
A motion of no confidence against the president was tabled during the meeting.

Zuma's leadership abilities was brought into question following numerous scandals, including Nkandla and the state of capture report. Added to this - the ANC's poor performance at the polls this year.
The motion is said to have been supported by several ministers, so a cabinet reshuffle could be on the cards before the end of the year.
President Zuma is also scheduled to meet with the ANC's Integrity Committee on the 3rd of December.
President Zuma rushed to the presidential guesthouse in Pretoria to receive his Ugandan counterpart President Yoweri Museveni yesterday, where after he rushed back to the NEC meeting.
