The ANC's Zizi Kodwa says the governing party still continues to support the Zondo commission.

"We think it's important because at the end of the work of the commission we need to restore the credibility of our democratic state, of our public institutions including the democratically elected government," he says.

Kodwa says the ANC will not account for actions of in individuals.

"Each time there's a name of the leader of the ANC or member of the ANC being dropped the ANC is not going to do a running commentary about them. We'll encourage those individuals who have not acted on behalf of the organisation to go before the commission and explain if they are implicated.”

Kodwa's comments come after the latest round of revelations, with former Bosasa executive Angelo Agrizzi implicating the ANC in the company's corruption and money laundering schemes.

On the third day of his testimony, Agrizzi told the commission that Bosasa established a Youth Development Centre, which was used to pay ANC officials for what he described as regional electioneering.
