ANCWL reveals its leadership wishlist

The African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) has pronounced on the top 6 leaders it would like to see elected at the ANC's Elective Conference in December.

In a statement, the ANCWL says its latest National Executve Committee (NEC) meeting has unanimously agreed on several members that must be in its party's top six leadership positions.

"The following comrades must be the top six of the ANC that will champion radical economic transformation to eradicate inequalities, unemployment and poverty in the country" reads the statement.

 


The ANC Women's League nominate:



1. President: Cde Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma




2. Deputy President: Cde DD Mabuza




3. National Chairperson: Cde  Nathi Mthethwa




4. Secretary General: Cde Ace Magashule




5. Deputy Secretary General: Cde Jessie Duarte




6. Treasure General: Cde Maite Nkoana-Mashabane



The Women's League is adamant that 50% of the additional members of the ANC NEC must be women.



The ANCWL says the leadership to be elected in the 54th ANC National Conference must be fearless and unapologetic in implementing radical economic transformation.
