Another arrest in JMPD officer's assault
Two suspects are expected to appear in court on Tuesday in connection with Sunday's violence in a Hillbrow street.
Johannesburg Metro Police Department spokesperson Wayne Minnaar says a second suspect was arrested yesterday, after Sunday's arrest when a man took a JMPD officer's gun away from him.

"The officer that was attacked has since been discharged from hospital. There is still an internal investigation, as well as an investigation into possible further criminal charges against the suspects" says Minaar.

A group attacked Johannesburg Metro Police officers in the streets of the Johannesburg inner city on Sunday afternoon.

JMPD says the officers were towing away a car that belonged to a church member and was parked ililegally.
The Revalation Church of God has accused the metro police officers of abuse.
