Another biker dies in Queensburgh
Updated | By ANA
A motorcyclist died on the M7 in Queensburgh, Durban, on Sunday – the second this weekend, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.
“Just after 4pm, Rescue Care Paramedics received a call of a serious motorbike accident on the M7 east-bound before [the] Main Road off-ramp,” spokesman Garrith Jamieson said.
On arrival, paramedics found the critically injured man lying in the centre island between the two carraigeways.
“They immediately assessed him and found that the man had no pulse. Advanced life support paramedics tried to resuscitate the man for more than half-an-hour. However, they were not successful and the man passed away.
“This is the second bike accident this weekend on the M7 where Rescue Care Paramedics have attended and both have been fatal. The necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further,” Jamieson said.
