Another Spur video does the rounds
Another video has surfaced on social media, showing what appears to be an attempted kidnapping.
The video was posted on Facebook by Dewald Wessels and is dated November 1, 2016.
People reacted with shock and outrage to the footage on social media.
The Facebook post with the video read in part:
"People please beware, always ALWAYS keep an eye on your kids when visiting restaurants, malls or any public area. This little boy was nearly kidnapped if it wasn’t for the vigilance of his mother and father who spotted the child being picked up by a person and taken away from the play area. From my conversation with the mother, criminal proceedings are underway…"
When contacted for comment, Spur's Group Marketing Executive, Sacha du Plessis told Jacaranda FM News a statement on the incident would be released soon.
