Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Archbishop Desmond Tutu has been readmitted to hospital as a precaution, after his surgical wound showed signs of infection on Saturday, his wife Leah said in a statement.
The Archbishop was discharged from hospital on Wednesday following a minor surgical procedure 10 days ago.
The 84-year-old underwent surgery to address the cause of a recurring infection resulting from past treatment received for prostate cancer.
