Attempted hit and run caught on camera
An attempted hit and run on the N1 in Johannesburg has been captured on video.
In the footage, a driver can be seen swerving across the highway before crashing into a bakkie on Tuesday morning.
After the crash, the motorist then attempts to drive off, but is quickly cordoned by fellow motorists who had witnessed the crash.
Jacaranda FM News has obtained footage of the accident.
Three lanes were closed as a result of the crash.
Bridge collapses on N3 highway
It is unclear whether there were
any injuries of fatalities.
Jacaranda FM News has tried to contact the police for comment without success.
Paramedics and the Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) have also confirmed that they did not respond to the incident.
