The bail hearing of three siblings who allegedly locked their father and two children in a room for more than a year is to continue in the Atteridgeville Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Captain Bonginkosi Msimango said Samuel Malatji, Regina Malatji and Lillian Malatji face charges of murder, kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice.
"The trio were arrested last week after they allegedly locked their father Benedict Malatji, 80, and two of their nephews, Kentridge Malatji, 30, and Thabo Malatji, 23, in a room for more than a year at their family house in Atteridgeville, west of Pretoria," said Msimango.
Msimango said when police went to the house they found the decomposed body of Benedict Malatji.
The three were remanded in custody.
