Body of man with hands tied behind back recovered in Nelspruit river

Police in Nelspruit on Wednesday recovered a man's decomposing body at the Mgwenya River near Karino.
Members of the community came across the body before alerting the police.
Police spokesperson Selvy Mohlala says the man had his hands tied behind his back.
"Preliminary investigation has also revealed that it was a body of a man whose hands were tied with a rope behind his back, lying dead on top of the rock.
"For now an inquest case has been opened with strong possibility of turned into murder. His identity is unknown at this stage."
