Mpumalanga woman in court for dumping newborn baby

Police in Mpumalanga have arrested a 37-year-old woman for dumping her newborn baby in Dullstroom.
The baby boy was discovered by a passerby near a railway on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Slevly Mohlala said the baby was later taken to the hospital.
"Police immediately began with the investigation and were led to the said mother of the baby boy."
The woman is expected to appear in the Belfast Magistrate's Court on Tuesday facing a charge of child neglect.
