Killian was set to apply for bail the Belville Regional Court on Tuesday, but proceedings had to be postponed.

The private investigator is linked to the murder of top Western Cape cop Charl Kinnear.

Provincial NPA spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila says the cellmate is also in isolation awaiting his Covid-19 test results.

Ntabazilila says should the results come back negative, the bail application will be heard on December 15.

"We are expecting results on Thursday or Friday. If they come back positive that case will be postponed to January.”

He says NPA and investigative officer have both been informed of the developments.
