Scrrenshot

The grade 8 English teacher was captured on video writing the k-word, n-word on a whiteboard in one of the classrooms as pupils laughed in shock.

The 82-year-old substitute teacher has since been dismissed from the school.

"Reports state that the incident occurred on Monday during an English class the educator was teaching provocative language and allegedly told learners that they must not be hurt when the ‘k-word’ is used on them because they were not affected by apartheid,” said Chiloane’s spokesperson Xolani Mkhwemte on Wednesday.

"Her actions are vehemently unacceptable and have undeniable racist undertones which will not be tolerated in any aspect of our education sector.

"The teacher will also be reported to the for necessary investigation and deregistration so that she is not allowed to teach our children any further,” he added.

Please note the video contains racist language and may be triggering to some.
