Christo Wiese resigns as Steinhoff chairman
Tycoon Christo Wiese has resigned from Steinhoff in the wake of allegations of fraud and accounting irregularities at the international retail giant.
The Steinhoff board says in a statement released on Thursday night, the 76-year-old Wiese and his son, Jacob, have both decided to step down.
