City of Johannesburg parts ways with it’s City Manager

The City of Johannesburg has parted ways with its city manager, Ndivhoniswani Lukhwaren.
Lukhwaren was appointed city manager by the city’s previous Democratic Alliance (DA)-led administration.
In a statement, the city says the decision was 'free and voluntary.'
"The executive mayor, Geoffrey Makhubo has expressed his appreciation to the City Manager for his service to the residents of the city and wished him well in his future endeavours," they said in a statement.
