After implementing stage 5 power cuts on Friday, stage 4 is currently in place on Saturday, with stage 2 planned for Sunday.

"We appeal to all members of the public to assist in maintaining the electricity demand to low levels by switching off non-essential appliances, mainly geysers and swimming pool pumps,” she says.
