Commuter train derails in New York, cars spill into river

A commuter train derailed in the New York City borough of the Bronx Sunday, sending train cars spilling into the water, reported the operator and local media.

"Hudson Line Srvc is currently suspnded south of Crotonharmon due to train incident at Spuyten Duyvil. More info will be provided as we get it," read a tweet from the train operator, Metro-North.
The New York Post reported that the spill was just north of Manhattan, near where the Hudson River meets the Harlem River.
