Concern over rock throwing on N12

The Johannesburg Metro
Police Department (JMPD) has warned
motorists to be vigilant on the N12 highway in Johannesburg following several incidents of rock-throwing.
Spokesperson Wayne Minnaar says undercover officers are monitoring the road between Lenasia in an attempt to curb the incidents.
Minnaar says several cars have already been damaged and some people have also been robbed of their belongings.
"One car has already overturned and the driver of that vehicle died.”

He says officers will be deployed to area with immediate effect.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution, especially at night.
