Constitutional Court dismisses Dalindyebo's application to be released from jail

The Constitutional Court on Monday dismissed an application by AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo to have his case reviewed, and be released from jail.
Dalindyebo is currently serving a 12-year sentence for kidnapping, assault, defeating the ends of justice and arson.
Spokesperson for the AbaThembu tribe, Nkosi Daluduma Mtirara said they accept the court's ruling.
"We appeal to the members of the royal family and our extended members to accept the decision handed down by our courts. Let us also support our King and his family and let us start to rebuild our kingdom," he said.
