Cope spokesperson Dennis Bloem says they will physically prevent Brian Molefe from entering the Eskom premises at Megawatt Park.

"Molefe is not allowed to enter the Eskom headquarters and our people will make sure all the gates are guarded," says Bloem.

Bloem says they are fighting against corruption, because they have had enough.

"We will never let Mr Jacob Zuma's disrespectful government ruin our country. This is totally unacceptable and they are taking us for fools," says Bloem.

Molefe is returning to his position as Eskom CEO to serve out the remainder of his five-year contract after her resigned at the end of 2016.

He resigned following the release of the Public Protector's report into state capture, naming him as one of the officials with close ties to the controversial Gupta family.
