Opposition to oppose Molefe's Eskom return
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
Opposition parties say they will not take Brian Molefe's re-appointment as Eskom's CEO lying down.

The parties held a media briefing ahead of Monday's Constitutional Court hearing on the use of a secret ballot during the motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma.
"We all agree that we can't allow someone who is facing a criminal charge, a state of capture report to return back to being CEO of Eskom. We believe there are grounds and I have tasked our legal team to see if we can interdict such actions, because you can't have an entity like Eskom being captured in that regard," says DA leader Mmusi Maimane.

Maimane, EFF leader Julius Malema say they will be looking to interdict Molefe's re-appointment.
Freedom Movement leader Prince Mashele branded Molefe a criminal who belongs in jail.
"We have decided that we are consulting with our lawyers and we are going to wait for advice in this regard. We also intend to interdict. If we don't interdict we will support whoever interdicts, because we believe that Brian Molefe must never occupy a position of leadership," says Mashele.
