Molefe resigned as MP three months after being sworn in to return to his position as CEO of Eskom.
Molefe resigned at Eskom following the Public Protector's report into state capture, saying he did it in the interest of the power utility.
The report named him as one of the officials with close ties to the controversial Gupta family.
Molefe made headlines when he defended his presence in Saxonwold, where the Gupta family lives, by saying he was visiting a shebeen in the area.
Parliament spokesperson Moloto Mothapo says every person who is sworn in as an MP receives a contribution towards pension.
"I think it will be calculated according to the number of months he has served and the contribution he made," says Mothapo.
